As I sit here in Florida with My Only Brother Rich, who is now on Hospice… My Heart is Truly Broken! He is the Last of My 5 Brothers. I’m the Only Girl … they waited 10 years for Me to be born!!!
He smoked all of his life, and worked on Boilers in Industrial settings and Schools. He had stopped Smoking a Year before, but the Damage was Done.
He lost His Right Lung back in January 2013…. And for the Past 2 Years he has needed it 24 Hours a...

Hoping Everyone had a Wonderful Christmas! I spent Christmas in Philadelphia, Pa. I Went to A Beautiful Mass where they
combined the true meaning of Giving. The Homily was
about St Nicholas as he worried that the True meaning was being Lost in Society. and how he could presented his gift of Change to The Infant Child Jesus and Prayed that his gift of Spirituality, Peace, Harmony and Love for one Another, will prevail. I will Pray for this World we live in!

When I was on the Older website (about 10 Years ago) My name was "IrishEyesPatti". I am Seeing some familiar faces from back in the Day, Please stop to say Hello❣
After having Bronchitis & Pneumonia every Year, and Smelling like an Ashtray... And becoming a Grand Momma for the 3rd time, and my daughter saying I could not smoke around her baby who was due in May... I decided to maybe quit... Tried off and on... But it wasn't until I decided To pick a day and stick to it, that it finally happened! So Saturday, February 22nd, 2003 was the designated Day.. So at 6pm.. I smoked my last Cigarette and started slaying that Nico~Demon❣

His body is riddled with Cancer and the Pain is now unbearable.
I flew in a Week ago… and I will be by his side… along with his Wife of 54 Years and their 2 Daughters to bring Comfort and Strength.

Thank You Kindly for all the well wishes for My 16 Year Quit❣️ God knows there were so many times, when I was so distraught I thought about reaching for just 1. But I made that vow to myself to Never let that Nico~Demon have me in the clutches again❣️
3 Years ago, Watching my Baby Brother John (62) die everyday for what the Doctors said would only be about 2 weeks on Hospice due to stage 4 Lung Cancer. I took him home and In reality I was “Blessed” with 10 Months of sharing every single Day until his last Smile and his last Breath. I Thank God that I was able to care for him, as the Nico~Demon took 3 Older Brothers only a few years before. I am grateful for my 2 remaining Brothers, who 1 had to have a Lung removed and they both moved away for Warmer climate weather. (Thank Goodness for Technology and I get to ‘see’ them). I was always known as the Princess, as my parents waited after 4 Boys to finally have their lil girl and then my Baby Brother John❣️
I now watch my 4 Friends fight for their life and they are Thankful for every Breath, but the pain is agonizing to watch. ??
Please Pray for all the People who are fighting this Horrible Nico~Demon.

UPDATE 10/21/2019
I have lost 2 of my Precious Friends whose bodies were ravaged by the NICO~DEMON once again. I sat vigil with my oldest Friend ~ watching her Die a painful Death only 3 weeks ago.
In July I lost My Brother Mickey..... Suddenly to a Heart Attack from smoking for over 60 years. The Undertaker told his wife, his body was riddled with Cancer.
